Indian Institute of Management Rohtak

The only IIM which has been established in the Haryana state is starting the Post Graduate Program in Management which is equivalent to the MBA degree by Recognized Universities. In this year 2 new IIMs have been started which are at Ranchi and Rohtak. The people of Haryana were zealousy waiting for the launching of this premier Institute in Management. The IIM Rohtak is boon for the Haryana.

IIM-Rohtak will start from 2010-11 academic session. Haryana government has maintain 213 acres of site at Granawati village in Rohtak for construction of the IIM building which cost Rs. 35 crore (Rs. 350 million)," according to state spokeperson

The recommended site has been approved by the human resource development (HRD) ministry. Temporary campus of the IIM would start working from 2010-2011 in Maharishi Dayanand university campus in Rohtak," said the spokesperson.
